June Favorites: Beauty + Fashion + Misc

I can't believe June is almost over! It has been quite an exciting month though I must say; I went to Chicago to hang out with one of my best friends and I did a lot of shopping. It was also my last month writing for Collegefashion.net's "Looks on Campus" series, which is really sad. (see my posts) But here I am, opening a new window in my life to let out my little passions and hobbies. Today, I am here to share some of my June favorites. There are a couple of beauty products, clothing items, as well as music, food, and miscellaneous things that I have been loving this past month. I will also give a mini review for each beauty product.

Beauty:

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation (Sephora)
My Shade: 4.0 (MAC NC30)
Price: $39
Coverage: Medium

This is a newly rediscovered product this month. I had this product for probably over a year now but just recently I discovered what a great foundation this is! It is super liquid-y yet it has amazing coverage! It's super light-weight, blendable, and is great for the summer months.

Pros:
-Light weight
-Good Coverage
-Natural Looking
-Easy to Blend
-Little Goes a Long Way

Cons:
-Expensive
-Not the Longest Lasting Foundation (But does fine)
-Doesn't Control Oil the Best (However its not bad either)
-No SPF

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (Ulta)
My Shade: 220 (MAC NC 30)
Price: $6.99
Consistency: Liquid

This is a great light weight concealer. It has good coverage despite its consistency and it is easy to blend into the skin. This has been my all purpose concealer ever since I bought this months ago. It's a great concealer for the price.
Pros:
-Good Coverage
-Light Weight
-Good for Under-Eye Area
-Affordable

Cons:
-Doesn't Last All Day

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streaked (Sephora)
My Shade: Streaked
Price: $30

This is actual a good deal considering that you are getting a bronzer, highlighter, and a blush. They are all great quality and I have been using this palette every single day since I got it in the beginning of June. It's convenient and all the shades look really nice on my skin. My personal favorite in this palette is the highlighter; it gives the perfect dewy and glowing look that is so in this season!

Pros:
-Convenient Packaging
-Sturdy Packaging
-Good Color Selection
-Smooth Texture
-Easy to Work With

Cons:
-Still Pricey
-Wish the Bronzer was a little less red on me

L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara Waterproof (Ulta)
My Shade: Blackest Black
Price: $8.99

Ever since I ran out of my favorite mascara of all time: Maybelline Falsies, I have been on a hunt for something that can work just as well, if not better. This is a good mascara for my lashes. It is very black and gives good length and volume. Not quite as good as my Falsies, but It's good enough for now.

Pros:
-Lengths
-Curls
-Gives Volume
-Waterproof
-Affordable

Cons:
-Wand is a bit difficult to work with sometimes

ELF Tinted Lip Balm (ELF
My Shade: Peach
Price: $2.00

This has been my go to lip product this month. I am a total lip product junkie, but I am somehow really lazy when it comes to lip products. This product is the real deal. It has a smooth consistency and it is rather pigmented on the lips! It gives just a bit of shine and it is very moisturizing. It is so easy to use I just love this.

Pros:
-Pigmented
-Moisturizing
-Easy to apply
-Affordable

Cons:
-A bit unsanitary... but it's so good!

Fashion:

Forever 21 Denim Jacket (Last Season)
Price: $17-19 (I can't remember)

This was my go-to piece this month. It goes with a lot of things I have and I will definitely feature this in a future post.

Topshop Denim Skirt
Price: $12 (SALE)

Oh-my-gosh. This skirt is totally up my alley. You will probably soon learn about my obsession over denim, and this skirt is perfect. It was recently featured in my previous post and I think this skirt is so versatile and cool. You will most definitely see this in future posts again.

Lifestyle:

Bella Rocket Blender
Price: $24.99 on (Amazon)
I have been obsessed with smoothies for the past two months; I drink it every single day. This is my blender. It has gone through a lot for such a little machine. I got it on sale for around $18 actually at Macy's. Let me tell you, it's not Blendtec or Vitamix, but it does a decent job of what I need it to do. I will definitely upgrade my blender at some point (I'm thinking the Nutribullet) but for now, I love this little guy.

Music:

Tiesto - Red Light
I wouldn't say I'm a huge EDM type of gal, but Tiesto's mixes are amazing. This track especially gives me the chills. You know how some songs that you listen to it just hits a place in your heart and brain and no other song could? It just has that somethin' somethin? Yep, this is one of those songs for me. I love it. (Although I don't advocate running through red lights).

Tiesto - Wasted ft. Matthew Koma
Again, Tiesto has got me. This is a super catchy and fun song and I really like listening to it. Not a huge fan of the lyrics, but... nonetheless I think it's a good summer song!

Sammy Adams - All Night Longer
Okay, I swear I'm not an alcoholic.. but I have been loving this song this month for my cardio. Great for running, bad for family gatherings.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
